Great views from restaurant and staff more than happy to provide a cuppa to 2 tourists to help soak up the view.
Frankly,our whole experience was ruined by extremely rude service in the golf pro shop.We understand Tasmania struggles with the quality of service but this guy was cringeworthy.All my wife and son requested was to have a look at a cap that was too high for them to reach.The guy basically blew up,"I don't have time now,just buy the other one..." The shop was empty ! He also seemed to be very against children playing even though my son is a single figure handicap.You have a 5 star golf course,don't ruin it with 1 star staff.Horrible,uncharming man.A real turn off for us.I can only presume he is related to the owner as no place of this quality should have staff like that.
Can see why this course is in the top 5 in Australia. I didn't think fairways and greens could be so immaculate and well looked after. Views from some holes are breath taking.Make sure you play off the blacks as it adds a dimension to the course not seen from closer tee spots.Bar and patio are great for watching groups come in. Prices are reasonable as well.Hole 13B is my favorite.
Beautiful views of the ocean from the restaurant. This place serves really good food at decent prices. I love the calamari, the deep fried pink ling fish (fish and chips) and the seafood broth. Excellent place for family, friends, business lunch or romantic dining set. The portions are huge, but quality is still there. Id recommend spending some time here to really enjoy the food and scenery given that one would have spent significant time to get there in the first place. Recommended!
Stunning location, well designed and clean hotel.The service was great, friendly engaging staff who knew the resort and local area.The rooms have a very classic look but are not dated and were exceptionally clean. The bed was soft, maybe a little too soft for some. Complimentary bottles of water and stunning views of either the beach or golf course.The view from the restaurant is absolutely stunning also and the food is delicious.Highly recommended even if you are not interested in golf.
